I wrote this song in December 2014 as a poem and then experimented with several different musical and melodic approaches before settling on this slow march. My orchestration was inspired by Ravel's "Bolero." I recorded with my Guitorchestra (tm) for dramatic effect. I bought an Autoharp strictly for the intro and first verse to give it a majestic yet folky feel that develops into full blown orchestral sound.

The theme is our journey through this life to our ultimate goal and original birthplace: Heaven

VOYAGER NOW

An endless river flows
With the water of life for every thirsty soul
This world is not our home
We are only nomad spirits and destined to roam
To escape the consternation we beseech a revelation
Hoping we receive a Holy epitome…Mmm

(Aimlessly we wandering…)
(While the voice of truth is thundering)

Our hearts cannot conceive
The fullness of the Master in a vast eternity
We endeavor to be free
And employ imagination that helps us to see
In life there are no limits only loss for lack of living
As we travel through our own infinity
