about

This album started in early December 2018. I wrote every song in order, 3 in 2018, 6 in 2019, using the recorder on my phone while driving to various places to teach, record, etc. I began recording everything in the order I had written, finishing each song before I started another. I had the album title before I wrote the title song "Focus"

About the release date: I released the first 5 songs as "Side 1" on April 2, 2019 and the remaining 4 songs "Side 2" on May 5, 2019. In the "old days" that's how we conceived and planned an album...for vinyl. Just a little trivia from the past...I miss vinyl, but I do enjoy letting a cd play without having to flip it over for the rest of the music...lol.

I believe GOD truly inspired this entire project, as the constant theme was, of course, to focus on what's really important: Loving Him and others in our lives. I pray the listeners will receive a blessing from this music...I owe my Savior all the credit for His inspiration, MJT : )
