This song was originally written for a FELT 3 album. I got the one song, and my creative flow for a band project just didn't continue. As I started a solo album I thought the song fit with the concept. But I couldn't do without Tommy Gilstrap's awesome bass playing...He was a large part of the inspiration. We played in a couple of bands together, and we both loved 70s soul/funk music.
