This album consists of re-recorded versions of songs I had previously recorded in the 80s. I had almost gotten a deal with Electra/Asylum with "Till You" (1980), Atlantic Records with "Forever Love" (1983), and EMI Records with "There Is" (1985). But each label only liked one song. So in 1997 I decided to record every song that had ever attracted attention on one album. It was a totally creative effort and retains the "spirit of the 80s" sound.
